Delta Feeder for 16mm bearings
thingiverse
I'm making good progress with a feeder featuring 16mm bearings and an mk7 drive gear. By employing lock-washers as springs, I've achieved a strong grip on the filament. After running it for a few weeks now, so far no snag has occurred. Instructions printed parts are coming out well using 0.1mm layer height, without any support. I'm using PLA for this print and it holds surprisingly well despite the steppermotor generating some heat. The steps per unit define for the kossel should be set to: DEFAULT_AXIS_STEPS_PER_UNIT {80, 80, 80, 478} to get the proper extrude-length. Other materials I used are: Topflap: 1x M5 20mm bolt 1x Bearing 16x5x5mm Feeder: 2x M4 30mm bolt 2x M4 lock washer 2x M4 lock nut 1x Bearing 16x5x5mm 1x 4mm x M5 Metric Stud Push (tube-connector) Plate: 2x M3 12mm bolts Big cog assembly: 1x M4 20mm bolt 1x Bearing 16x5x5mm 1x Mk7 drive gear
