Delta Elite 3D Printable Quadcopter Frame

thingiverse

Introducing a quadcopter 3D design project in progress with adjustable frame styles. The copter is 28.5" long and features booms angled at 10 degrees for reduced prop wash and enhanced aerodynamics. A versatile X-DeadCat style frame conversion option is available, allowing for better filming without obstructions. Two versions of landing gear can be printed for different uses, with the larger gear better suited for aerial photography platforms and smaller gears for sport copters (raising 3.5" off ground). Print settings include raft-free printing, required supports, .2mm resolution, and 50% infill. Assembly instructions are provided, detailing the process of attaching booms to the main body and securing landing gear with screws and nuts. The recommended flight controller is the DJI NAZA V2 for optimal performance. For more information on Dimension 3 Fabrication's new Delta 3D printer, visit www.Dimension3fab.com.
