Delta DW321 Air Deflector
thingiverse
The latest Jig Saws utilize cooling air to blast chips away efficiently. My trusty old Dewalt DW321, however, lacked this feature, prompting me to design an add-on using Fusion360. By redirecting a small amount of cooling air towards the cutting blade, you can avoid constantly placing your face down and blowing away chips to maintain visibility. The newer saws have incorporated this capability, but I opted for a simple deflector on my Dewalt DW321 instead. Although safety glasses are still essential, at least you can clearly see the line. This design consists of two parts for convenient printing, which are then glued together using Duco cement. You can print it with any desired plastic and secure it to the ribs using a small amount of silicone glue. Cheers, Kisssys
