The Delta Desk Lamp is an artistic representation of equilateral triangles arranged in a concentric pattern. By scaling and rotating triangles in a concentric manner, each side of the pyramid creates the illusion of inward depth. An internal light softly diffused by a translucent cover also adds to the intrigue of this piece, and the light reflected on the internal surfaces adds even more depth and dimension.This whole lamp, aside from the LEDs and hardware, can be printed using SLA printing techniques. The intricate pattern on each side of the pyramid would lose too much detail with an FDM printer, thus making SLA the better option. Additionally, the difusor can take advantage of a clear resin to allow light to glow from within.Overall, this showcases the power of 3D printing and the intricate shapes that can be accomplished using CAD software.
