Delta calibration object for precise measurements

Delta calibration object for precise measurements

thingiverse

This is a remix of Klipper FW enhanced delta calibration object. The primary distinction lies in the substitution of M2 holes for pillars. This adjustment accounts for dimensional inaccuracies inherent to printed pillars by replacing them with M2 bolt heads, thereby enhancing precision. This object seamlessly fits within a 100mm diameter build area. The distance between centers of adjacent holes is precisely 45.5mm, or 91mm across the center (scale factor 0.7 for Klipper calibration, which anticipates a distance of 65mm). Pillar widths will be uniform and equivalent to the diameter of bolt heads employed (3.8mm in my case). For M2.5 bolts, scale at 125% and for M3 bolts at 150%. In these instances, the Klipper calibration scale factors will be 0.875 and 1.05 respectively. Notably, this object can also be used independently of Klipper for delta bot calibration. Simply print and measure to make adjustments as necessary.
