Delta 5 Timing System - Fan Cooled Case
thingiverse
This is a custom enclosure I designed to house a Delta 5 timing system. For more information on this timing system, visit https://github.com/scottgchin/delta5_race_timer. The case accommodates two boards capable of supporting up to eight receivers and a Raspberry Pi 3 model. It also features space for a five-volt, forty-millimeter fan and voltage display. After testing and assembly, I found this enclosure to fit together seamlessly and function well. However, please note that the print quality may vary depending on your printer's specifications. Some users might need to manually square off any misaligned corners. This is a significant print job, with the main body taking approximately twenty hours to complete. I opted for PLA material in my build, but ABS could potentially be a better choice due to its heat-resistant properties. For now, I'm testing it with white PLA and will assess how well it holds up over time.
