Delta 3D printer with belt tensionner
thingiverse
This is a carriage with a belt tensioner featuring an M4 thread, designed specifically for use with DeltaPrinters. The carriage has now been configured to work seamlessly with LM8UU bearings. For the frame, you can use any material you prefer; I opted for MDF. The printing area will be defined by a 220mm glass surface and approximately 260mm long fiberglass arms. Take a look at this preview of the printer in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Es_JiP2_91E. **Edit 2018-04-20** I've recently added the hotEnd components, including: * A case for the ED3 * A radial fan duct that draws air through an aluminum radiator and blows it directly to the nozzle output * A touch probe support system (endStop style) **Edit 2018-05-08** To further enhance the design, I've added a hole at the top of the carriage for securing the fine height of each tower with a screw. Additionally, I've enlarged the mounting possibilities for the endstop to ensure precise positioning. **Edit 2018-05-30** The latest modifications include: * Increasing the rods on the carriage by 22.5mm to gain extra Z height * Uploading a basic effector design * Introducing a new hotend case and touch probe system with an optical endstop and SG90 engaging mechanism * Creating a model of the fully assembled hotend for 3D viewing
