Delta 3D Printer is a type of 3D printer that uses a unique movement system to create objects layer by layer using Plastic materials. Unlike Cartesian 3D printers with a gantry system with X, Y, and Z axes, Delta printers use a delta robot kinematic system for movement. This system typically consists of three vertical towers with arms that control the position of the print head.The frame of this Delta 3D printer typically consists of three vertical towers arranged in a triangular configuration. Each tower has a vertical rail along which the carriage moves. Attached to each tower are carriages that move up and down along the vertical rails. These carriages are connected to the print head assembly. The print head assembly includes the extruder and usually a cooling fan. It is mounted on the carriages and moves in all directions using the delta kinematics. The effector is the central platform where the print head assembly is mounted. It is typically connected to the carriages via linkages or arms. This project is done at Makerspace, Bahir Dar Institute of Technology.
