Delta 12" Miter Saw (Model 36-255L) zero clearance insert - two options
thingiverse
Delta 12" miter saw insert plate for Model 36-255L (might fit others) Uploading two different options. One is smooth on both sides. The other has "indents" on the bottom similar to the original throat insert plate. If you print the one without indents, I'd recommend at least 50% infill. Interestingly enough, it prints faster on my printer even though I believe that the one with indents should use less filament. The design with indents is rotated so the top is on the build plate, so you will probably need supports to handle the countersunk bolt holes. My intention was to print this design at 100% infill but it would likely be fine with something less. Also posting the OpenSCAD file in case anyone wants to modify. 12/22/2020 - Made a few minor changes and updated. Shortened slightly and made a larger radius on the ends to eliminate need for any sanding.
