Delta 12" Compound TwinLaser Miter Saw (Model 36-255L) zero clearance insert

<p>As a learning exercise I designed and printed this insert for my Delta miter saw. It fits really well, I only slightly had to drill out the small holes, but otherwise it fits like a glove. I printed this in PLA, 0.2mm layer height, 50% infill. The blade cut its own slot for a zero clearance fit - I'll put my original one back in for non 90 degree cuts. Note that with my print bed of 200x250mm I had to rotate it diagonally and remove the binder clips so this would fit with barely a millimeter to spare.</p> Category: Parts
