Delorean DMC-12 CTSY Light Switch Bracket
thingiverse
The Delorean DMC-12's door light triggers (CTSY Light Switch) were angled downward, causing the dash light and door lights to constantly illuminate and drain the battery. The door ajar alarm/buzzer was also affected. A plastic bracket supports the switch but provides little support and breaks over time. I have an original replacement included here. You can purchase a Delorean store replacement (with switch) at http://store.delorean.com/p-7013-ctsy-light-sw.aspx. I modified the original with a brim and a slotted hole for more stability. On the driver's side, there are two switches. I merged the two individual brackets into a single '2UP' bracket for greater stability/support. Also, notice that the 3D models have holes for screws but the actual prints do not. While printing, the first several layers have an open hole. After those first few layers, the hole is printed over. You can use a 5/32" drill bit to open them back up.
