Delonghi kg79 Open Container
thingiverse
Important Update (06 May 2020): ------------------------------------------------------------ I designed an improved version. The name of the STL file is delonghi_kg79_container_SUPERIOR_VERSION.stl. (It was printed with orange filament, while the old one used silver gray filament.) Improvements: 1- I eliminated the thin pillars and reinforced the walls to prevent breakage. 2- I removed the bottom row to accommodate larger cups inside. 3- I erased the empty space at the top for easier printing, as it served no purpose. I highly recommend printing this new version. However, I will also retain the older design for reference purposes. You should use supports (touching only build plate). A 0.3mm layer height and 20% infill setting works perfectly well. ------------------------------------------------------------ The original container is not very practical for quick grinding. That's why I created this version to enable you to place a small cup or the original filter underneath the grinder and grind it directly. I invested extra time in perfecting the section where coffee first hits the container and bounces below, ensuring that coffee flows smoothly without clogging issues. This design allows for optimal flow, eliminating the problems experienced with earlier versions. I left the bottom empty to simplify cleaning and maintenance, so you won't need to remove the container every time it's necessary to clean it.
