Delonghi Ecam 23.240 water tank switch jumper

My Delonghi coffee machine, model ECAM 23.240, was malfunctioning. The error message displayed on the screen read: "Please insert the water tank," despite the fact that the water tank had already been installed. Further investigation revealed the root cause of the problem: the plastic nose at the top of the machine had broken off, which prevented the micro switch from being activated. To fix this issue, I designed and created a custom part to activate the switch. If you're experiencing the same problem, here's how to use my solution: 1. Remove any remaining fragments of the original plastic nose from the water tank. 2. Insert the new printed part into the slot where the micro switch is located. 3. Reinstall the water tank and try brewing a cup of coffee. By following these steps, you should be able to get your Delonghi coffee machine up and running again.
