This model was engineered for maximum tamping force, allowing users to exert high pressure with ease. A clever design feature includes plastic drippers at the bottom, intentionally designed to be breakable during the tamping process. The sturdy hinges support the portafilter from three distinct angles, while a reinforced handle provides additional stability. This 3D printed model is remarkably easy to produce. Given its large size, I opted for printing with PLA material. Upon completion, I carefully heated the component using a hair dryer and inserted the portafilter into place, resulting in a snug but not overly tight fit.
