Dell SFF Fan Upgrade

Dell SFF Fan Upgrade

I designed this fan upgrade for my Dell Precision T3420, which had lost its original shroud, causing significant cooling issues. To resolve the problem, I created a new shroud based on older Dell Optiplex systems that utilized a centrifugal fan to blow hot air out of the system's back and attach it to my existing heat sink. This fan requires components from a Delta BFB1012H cpu fan assembly, which was widely used in various Dell models, including the 390, 790, 990, 3010, 7010, 9010, and some newer small form factor systems. While it's not confirmed to work with the Foxxconn fan assembly, users can still try it. You'll notice that this design allows for only three CPU heat sink screws, as one was completely removed. I secured two adjacent screws tightly and the third slightly loose, which proved sufficient after extensive stress testing. As this is my second project using Fusion 360, any feedback or suggestions are highly valued!
