Dell R710 3.5" Caddy
thingiverse
A custom-built 3.5-inch caddy mimics the Dell PowerEdge (11th Gen) server's original design as closely as possible. Key features include drive ventilation holes, a designated spot to attach the drive's label, and two channels for Status and Activity LEDs on the backplane. Inserting a cable tie or string into slots in the front grill creates a handle for effortless tray removal, so remember to use low-profile HDD screws: tight tolerances mean any protruding screws will prevent the tray from fitting properly. For optimal results, print this caddy in its original orientation (as you would insert it) and with supports only under the sides.
