This is specifically for the Dell Prevision T5610 workstation tower. It fits in the 5.25" optical bay and is used for when you want more airflow, add fans or the HDD cage (which has a fan). I don't know about the other similar Precision towers (e.g. T3000 series, other 5000 models, or 7000 series), but you could give it a go - it's not much time or plastic. You can glue some dust filter mesh on the inside if you like.
