Dell Precision Stand

Dell Precision Stand

thingiverse

I was on a mission to find a stand for my laptop and fell in love with Gurgelx's design, so I printed the 40-degree version, but unfortunately, it didn't fit my desk and computer perfectly. Since the design is relatively simple, I decided to give it a try. Long story short, I adjusted the angle of the stand as it was too steep and my webcam was facing downwards, but then I added a little rise to compensate for that change. To use more plastic due to this adjustment, I included a small cut in the sturdier part, which turned out really neat. Additionally, I wasn't thrilled with the gap on the front part of the stand because the "feet" were bending back as a result of the weight on the back of my computer. To resolve this issue, I pre-bent the foot so it would be flat when under pressure. I'm extremely happy with the outcome and wanted to share it with you. Please let me know if you like it and if there's anything I can do to help resolve any problems you're experiencing with this print.
