This allows you to install a small hard drive in the area where the floppy drive is located on a Dell Optiplex SFF. It might fit other computers, but I only know for sure that it fits the SFF Dell Optiplex with a slim CD ROM (780, 755, etc). Mounting a small hard drive saves a huge amount of space in these compact computers by replacing the full-sized hard drive. It also reduces heat and increases airflow, which these little machines really need if you plan to do any gaming on them. It also frees up plenty of room for larger graphics cards. You'll still be limited to single-slot low-profile cards, but you'll have more space for fans and a heat sink.
