I designed a replica of the Dell Multimedia keyboard knob using images sourced from the internet. To begin with, I located a suitable image of the original knob online and saved it to my computer. The next step was to open the image in a graphics editing program where I could manipulate its size, color, and other attributes. Using the software, I resized the image to a more manageable scale while maintaining its overall proportions. This allowed me to work with the image more efficiently without compromising its visual integrity. Next, I employed various tools within the program to isolate specific elements of the knob's design. By carefully selecting and manipulating these components, I was able to create a high-quality digital representation of the original knob. Once I had isolated the individual parts of the design, I proceeded to modify them as needed. This involved adjusting colors, shapes, and other visual attributes to achieve an accurate likeness of the original knob. Throughout the process, I remained focused on capturing every detail of the original design, from its intricate patterns to its precise dimensions. By doing so, I was able to create a digital replica that closely mirrors the real thing. With my digital model complete, I could now begin working on the actual 3D printed version of the knob. This involved creating a 3D model using specialized software and then sending it to a 3D printer for production. The final result was a highly accurate, fully functional replica of the Dell Multimedia keyboard knob, crafted entirely from digital images sourced from the internet.
