Dell Monitor Stand (4 screw) to VESA 100mm Adapter
thingiverse
I ordered a new monitor from eBay that didn't come with a stand. I had an old Dell UltraSharp monitor and stand lying around that no longer worked. One can buy an adapter on eBay for $10, but I had a 3D printer, so I came up with this simple design to attach any VESA 100mm-compatible monitor to the Dell stand. There's a similar-looking mount on Thingiverse, but it's for a stand with three screws and doesn't work on my four-screwed one - I tried it out. To assemble this, you'll need four M4 socket-head bolts. I used M4 x 8mm because that was the smallest I had, but realistically 5 or 6mm would be better. If they're longer than 6mm, they will still work, but the display can't be rotated after installation. The model also has hexagon sockets for an M4 and an M5 nut to latch onto the two round bumps on the stand. They're not entirely necessary, but I think they help out. This design should help someone out there!
