Dell monitor accessory mount (tablet)
thingiverse
I wanted to create a screen for displaying items such as the camera on my printer, and I had this old WindPad tablet that was moving at a glacial pace. I installed a fresh Xubuntu operating system on it and started watching the camera, but the viewing angles were terrible and leaning it against a speaker produced mono sound. This combination wasn't ideal. The monitor is a Dell P2314H model, and the pole's dimensions are approximately 70x40 mm. I began thinking about attaching the device to one of my monitors and discovered that the upright of the monitor stand seemed quite sturdy, so I decided to work with it. The main components are: - A monitor mount adapter for a 20mm pipe. - A 20mm plastic electric pipe. - The bottom tablet stand, which has a groove that's a bit wide. To prevent the tablet from sliding around, I use a small amount of blue-tack. The bottom stand rests on top of the monitor. - An adjustable top tablet holder, allowing you to set the angle of the tablet using an M4 nut, washer, and 20mm screw. It should be relatively simple to attach anything lightweight to the pipe.
