Dell D6000 Universal Dock Under-desk Mount
thingiverse
This model was designed specifically for attaching my Dell D6000 Universal Dock to the underside of my desk. The model must be printed twice, but since it's symmetric, there's no need to mirror it for the second print. After printing, simply attach one side and then add the dock before mounting the second side in place. Each corner of the mount cups the corresponding corner of the dock, preventing it from sliding out. This ensures that all connectors and LEDs remain visible. The design also allows for airflow by leaving an air gap between the dock and the desk's bottom surface, keeping the dock cool. I used drywall screws to secure the mount to my desk. Notice how my dock is mounted at a slight angle under my desk? That was necessary because the power strip would have obstructed the front USB port if it were placed any other way. When choosing a mounting location, consider factors like this to ensure a smooth and functional setup.
