DELL 1950 Server Non-latching Drive Caddy

A custom drive enclosure for Dell 1950 servers is designed to accommodate multiple drives with a non-latching design. To address the issue of limited drive caddies, I opted to create one myself using a combination of CAD software and industry standards. The solution consists of a simple yet effective design that allows for easy installation and removal of drives without the need for latches or pull tabs. However, I can add these features if there is sufficient demand for it. The current design requires only a screwdriver to access the drives, which works perfectly fine in most cases. A photo showcases an earlier version of the enclosure with 5 ventilation holes, which were later increased to 6 to improve airflow and print quality. Despite the changes, critical dimensions remain unchanged to ensure compatibility with Dell caddies and industry standards.
