Deliverers of food or goods are among the people who keep our society running during the COVID-19 pandemic. We need their services more than ever right now. In most countries, they are currently advised to leave deliveries in front of the door without waiting for someone to open it. This way, they can stay safer and so can everyone else around them. However, this approach badly affects their income by causing them to miss out on tips. That's why I have designed a tip holder. You can easily attach it beside your door or doorbell using double-sided adhesive tape. I've also created a version with holes for screws in case you want a more stable installation. The bottom of the coin tray is made up of a mesh with lots of small sinkholes, making it easy to disinfect the whole piece and its contents. This design was modeled in OpenSCAD and can be fully customized. All sizes, texts, features, and other aspects can be changed. I've included several files for different languages. If your language is missing, you can either edit the scad file or leave a comment and I'll add it for everyone. The same goes if you need help customizing it or have ideas for improvement. Here's a list of the files that are currently included: * main.scad - the OpenSCAD file * no_holes_no_text.3mf - a plain holder without any text or mounting holes * with_holes_no_text.3mf - same but with mounting holes If your printer supports multiple materials, you can easily split the object into parts using PrusaSlicer. I've simply colored the text with a permanent marker, so you could also use one to write a custom message on the clip.
