Delft Blue Houses - Netherlands

prusaprinters

🇳🇱 Welkom in Nederland! Along with our friends at FormFutura, MiniWorld3D has created yet another iteration of our "Dutch Architecture", this time Dutchier than ever! We keep pushing our own limits, and we did an "in-house remix" by splitting our Christmas Village in parts where the facades can be printed flat on the print bed and in colors thanks to the pause-and-change filament method! This is also compatible with MMU / AMS.The set assembles easily, and allows for any lighting fixture to be implemented inside. Also provided are versions of each individual house, separated, if you wish to print only one of them, or to have them as a separate set.Delft Blue (delfts blauw in Dutch)is a centuries-old ceramics technique and tradition from the Netherlands, especially from the city of Delft, which got worldwide fame for it, and where the name comes from. Typically, earthenware like plates, vases, cups and sculptures are made in white glaze with blue decorations. KLM, the Dutch royal airline, is famous for gifting delft blue miniature houses to preferred customers (from Wikipedia). Now you can have your own set, without needing to get business class tickets!MiniWorld3D is happy to bring these models to life and celebrate this traditional art form from the Netherlands, in collaboration with FormFutura and their top-quality line of 3D printing materials, made in the Netherlands. MiniWorld3D is the collection of 3D printable landmarks and models of the real and fantasy world! All our models are made from scratch by hand and brain.Special thanks to @kuma_3d_worlds for the work splitting this model, and for the gorgeous print photos! This is normal, 3D printing does not produce exact tolerances.Add 3 or 4 LED tea lights, or a LED strip to light it up inside.( ! ) If you use tea lights, you must remove the plastic encasing first, or they won't fit inside. You can scale up or down to fit any light source that you plan to use.
