Deinonychus Skull 3D print model
cgtrader
Hey friends, I'd like to share my 3D sculpture of a Deinonychus Skull inspired by John Ostron's late 60s reconstruction. The fossil is comprised of multiple fragments with no gaps requiring filling in this model. Here are the key dimensions: the skull measures 400mm in length, 235mm in width, and 168mm in height. I used a Creality CR-10 printer for this project, with a 0.4mm nozzle diameter. The printing resolution was set to 0.1mm layers and I moved at a pace of 50mm/s. For the infill, I opted for a moderate 10% density and added support as needed. My intention was to design the skull for display on a 6mm metal rod. If you have any questions or concerns about this project, please don't hesitate to ask!
