Dehydrator expansion rings

Dehydrator expansion rings facilitate dehydration of items over one-inch tall. The rings feature eight segments. Using default Afinia settings is recommended, although results may vary. Quality set at 'Normal' for speed, with a 0.30mm Z-resolution. Rafts are unnecessary for flat and level platforms. Each 2-inch section weighs approximately 25g, plus 2g support material. Removing hidden support bits ensures perfect fitting pieces. Start with one or two sections before attempting four (or five). Sections don't snap-fit together but align well. Assemble on dehydrator trays to maintain a flat, circular shape. Use ABS adhesive for joining, although welding is recommended for strength. Tested at 160F for two hours with no issues. Designs are in inches, SAE files provided; if software imports incorrectly small files, scale up by 25.4 (mm to inch conversion).
