Dehumidifier stand
prusaprinters

I keep one of those small plug-in-to-recharge dehumidifiers inside my filament storage box, and another inside the active filament chamber above my 3d printer. But my filament chamber (a clear plastic box above my printer) doesn't have much room for the dehumidifier unless I stand it on edge. I designed this snap-on stand to hold the dehumidifier in a vertical position, which takes less room in the filament chamber and also makes it easier to see the moisture level indicator. This stand holds very firmly while being easy to snap on and off for plug-in recharging. I have used it on an Easy Home model EH-300 and an Eva-Dry model E333, which both appear to be the same device marketed as two different products -- or at least the same case. Although it may have been analytical overkill, this project was an opportunity to mathematically determine the radii of the curves of the existing product so that I could get a really nice fit for the accessory.

Print instructions

Printer Brand: Prusa
Printer: I3 MK3S
Rafts: No
Supports: No
Resolution: 0.2 mm
Infill: 15%
Filament: Prusament PETG Black
Notes:

I used PETG, but you could easily print with PLA if used indoors in a temperate environment. I printed with 4 perimeters for strength, since it has to flex a little to be snapped on and off of the dehumidifier when it comes time to recharge the dehumidifier.
