The ultimate goal is a compact Peltier-style humidifier designed specifically for cramped spaces such as a closet. SPT SUNPENTOWN INC., www.spt-usa.com, has produced two models that excel in this area: the SD-350 and SD-350TI. I've been utilizing one of these dehumidifiers to maintain a dry filament environment for over a year now. It's installed in my basement closet, where I store my filament, alongside a small drain on the floor that efficiently removes collected water. These dehumidifiers have proven to be both reliable and cost-effective, with the only minor issue being the need to empty the collection tank every week or so. This 3D print will create a funnel attachment that connects directly to the dehumidifier's collection area. By adding a small tube, you can redirect the water flow into a drain or a larger container like a 5-gallon bucket.
