This is an adapter we needed for our dehumidifier with a pump so we could pump through 3/8" hose vs the 1/4" it came with. The barb side is oversized to reduce the need for a hose clamp. You might want to sand it down a bit, or use vaseline to get it on, and it will be very hard to get off!
