The DHC-7-200 model closely resembles its actual counterpart, with dimensions varying only a few inches. It boasts animateable features such as propellers, control surfaces, landing gear, and landing gear doors. The aircraft, which is textured fully, comes in multiple formats. As a Short Takeoff and Landing (STOL) medium load regional passenger or freight carrier, the Dash 7 or DHC-7 was designed in the early '70s and entered service in '76, achieving immediate success. It evolved from the twin Otter design and developed into the DHC-8 series. The DHC-7 also served multiple military services including the US Army, Canadian Air Force, and Navy for transport and patrol purposes.
