The de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver is a renowned bush plane with single-engine, high-wing, and propeller-driven features. Known for its STOL capabilities, it serves in cargo and passenger hauling, aerial application, and utility aircraft purposes within armed forces. The US Army procured numerous units, while nine DHC-2s are currently operational in the Civil Air Patrol for search and rescue missions. Notably, a Royal New Zealand Air Force Beaver supported Sir Edmund Hillary's South Pole expedition. Manufactured until 1967 when its original production line closed, over 1,600 Beavers were produced. The medium poly model of this aircraft is constructed very near to scale and fully textured, featuring animateable ailerons, elevators, rudder, pontoon rudders, flaps, and propeller, along with retractable amphibian landing gear and detailed cabin/cockpit interiors. It was built in 2014 as one of the latest models and is available in multiple formats.
