The de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver is a single-engine bush plane, used for cargo and passenger hauling as well as aerial application. It has been widely adopted by armed forces as a utility aircraft; the US Army purchased several hundred, with nine still in service with the Civil Air Patrol for search and rescue. The Royal New Zealand Air Force utilized one during Sir Edmund Hillary's South Pole expedition. A total of 1,600 Beavers were produced until 1967 when production ceased. The model features a medium poly design with intricate engine and exterior detailing, animateable control surfaces, retractable landing gear, and cabin/cockpit interior depth. This meticulously crafted, fully textured model was built in 2014 and is available in multiple formats.
