The de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver is a single-engine, high-wing aircraft with STOL capabilities, designed by de Havilland Canada for bush plane use in cargo and passenger transportation, aerial application, and utility roles within armed forces. First built in 1947, over 1,600 models were produced until 1967 when the original line ceased production; however, nine DHC-2s remain in service with the Civil Air Patrol for search and rescue missions. Notably, a Royal New Zealand Air Force Beaver supported Sir Edmund Hillary's expedition to the South Pole. The model was meticulously crafted with medium poly detailing on the engine and exterior of the aircraft, fully textured and built near-to-scale. It features animateable ailerons, elevators, rudder, pontoon rudders, flaps, and propeller, as well as retractable landing gear for added realism. This 2014 model is available in multiple formats for diverse usage options.
