The de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver, a single-engine, high-wing aircraft, was skillfully modeled in 2014 with great attention to detail on its engine and exterior. Animated features include ailerons, elevators, rudder, pontoon rudders, flaps, propeller, and retractable landing gear. The cabin and cockpit interiors also showcase fine details. This versatile aircraft is used for cargo and passenger hauling, aerial application, and has been widely adopted by armed forces as a utility plane. Notably, nine DHC-2s are still in service with the Civil Air Patrol for search and rescue missions. The Royal New Zealand Air Force deployed a Beaver during Sir Edmund Hillary's South Pole expedition. A total of 1,600 Beavers were produced until 1967 when the original line ceased production.
