The de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver is a single-engine aircraft with high wing and propeller drive, developed by de Havilland Canada. Primarily used as a bush plane for cargo and passenger transport, it has also been widely adopted by armed forces for utility purposes. The US Army possesses several hundred of these planes, while nine DHC-2s continue to serve the Civil Air Patrol in search and rescue operations. A Royal New Zealand Air Force Beaver even supported Sir Edmund Hillary's South Pole expedition. Manufactured until 1967, over 1,600 Beavers were produced during its original production run. This model features a medium poly with detailed engine and exterior, animateable parts including flaps and landing gear, and was built in 2014 as one of our latest models available in various formats.
