Defiant Wings Aggressor 38 Vista Mount

<p>This is a nose mount for the <a href="https://www.defiantwings.com/aircraft/aggressor-38?category=Performance%20Wings">Defiant Wings Aggressor 38</a> that holds my Caddx Vista mount (found <a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/105484-caddx-vista-mount">HERE</a>). The mount will just snap in, no need for straps or anything.</p><p>To install it, cut a notch 60mm wide and 30mm back from the leading edge in order to match the airfoil. The mount is meant to protrude 15mm in front of the nose to make sort of a bumper. Unfortunately, because of how little space there is in the nose of the 38 (at least on my build), it has to run that far forward. Run two wires back to power, or four wires if you want to connect to a flight controller. I use a PH2.0 connector close to the Vista, then you can jam the connector in the space behind the camera and it fits nice and flush.</p><p>Yes, the Vista protrudes from the nose by a lot. I had to cut the sides down to give it proper ventilation (not an issue in flight, but I burned up two Vistas on the ground working on this design). I have crashed it repeatedly and have yet to lose a Vista to crash damage. You can see in the pictures from this mount specifically that it has been planted hard multiple times and has held up great.</p><p>Enjoy!</p><p><br>&nbsp;</p>
