Deff Trukk Part 01

Some parts required sanding before they would fit together properly. I'll list which parts need attention and how to address the issue. Unfortunately, my time is limited due to engineering school, so I won't be able to fix the files. For this part: deck_1_wall_middle_left needs to be sanded down where it meets deck_1_wall_middle_right. You can find all the parts in a collection on Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/Sakari_the_machine_maker/collections/ork-deff-trukk. To ensure stability and levelness, I recommend using cinder blocks found in part 10 to hold up the base parts. Print a few of them and use them to support the various parts. If anyone builds this model and paints it, please post your creation in the "I made this" section on this platform. It would mean a lot to me and make me incredibly proud. Important note: all parts are designed using millimeters, not inches. Here's a summary of the Deff Trukk concept: When a bunch of deffguns discovered two basilisks, they dragged them back to a big mek to turn into a deffgun. While the boyz were arguing about who got to wear it, the Big Mek had an idea. He was going to convert the guns into a Deff Trukk, a vehicle designed to carry the two guns around. The guns would be modified to fire fully automatically and belt-fed. The orks were happy with the idea, and the thing was built. However, the Big Mek struggled to aim the guns, so he added a crane to lift the front end of the barrels. I initially designed this model because I wanted to create something orky. As I progressed, the idea emerged to design a game mod around it called Caravan mode. One side would have a mega vehicle that they needed to defend, while the other side would need to blow it up. Due to its size, the vehicle couldn't be destroyed from the outside, so players would need to board it and attack weak points. I even started developing separate vehicles for each race, based on their themes. For example: * Imperial guard: a heavily armored land train * Space marines: a drop-pod base * Tyranids: a mega-organism that converts the atmosphere Each design would have different set-ups and features based on the unit it's named after. Due to time constraints, I haven't been able to finish the main gun. However, I've posted a WIP version of the gun for those who are interested in printing it. Important note: many part files require adjustments before printing. Some parts need to be printed with their flat base facing down and archways for overhanging sections. For example, Wall_front_right was designed to print with a flat base but came out upside down. To fix this, you'll need to flip the part in your printing program so that the large flat surface is on the print bay floor. In general, if a part doesn't lay flat on the print bay floor, something is wrong. Exception: parts base_c and base_d need to be printed on their side due to their shape. If any clarification is needed for further parts, please comment below.
