The Ork Deff Dread, also known as Death Dreadnought, is a massive combat walker that combines elements of an Ork Killa Kan and a Space Marine Dreadnought. The machine is smaller than an Ork Stompa but larger than a Killa Kan. A Deff Dread can carry up to four weaponized arms like a Dreadnought, requiring the skills of both an Ork Mekboy and a Painboy for its construction. Many Orks volunteer for this process since it lets them become one of the largest and most powerful Orks in their clan. Deff Dreads are also popular among other Orks due to their immense destructive capacity, multiple weapons, and tendency to stomp things to death. These traits embody what defines Ork "culture." However, the process of creating a Deff Dread can be the opposite of what Orks want because they become permanently wired into a metal shell. This causes them to go mad, often requiring new Deff Dreads to be "run in," sometimes at the expense of nearby buildings. Deff Dreads are rare Greenskin war machines and cost an Ork Warboss or Warlord around 100 Greenskin teeth to build or purchase from another clan. Be cautious when scaling as it may be off, and a base will need to be added since one is not included in the model.
