Project: Panzers was a secret US Army program to develop and deploy autonomous tanks during the Cold War era. The project's goal was to create a self-sustaining tank that could operate independently, without human intervention, on the battlefield. The first prototype of the Panzer tank was unveiled in 1960, at the Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland. This early model was equipped with advanced computer systems and sensors that enabled it to navigate and engage enemy targets autonomously.
