Defender Ship USB Case

Defender Ship USB Case

This is a drive case designed to resemble a classic Defender ship with 3D representation, it is wide so if you have many devices it can be frustrating as it may limit how many USB ports can actually be used. So print one yourself and blast some aliens as you move data from place to place! Print Settings Printer: Flashforge Dreamer Resolution: High Infill: 15 - 20% (Your choice I did 15%) Post-Printing Assembly Okay, this might be hard to explain but here goes. First, you break open your current drive that you wish to put in the Defender ship, then pull out the metal part with the chip in it and stick it on the lower part of the Defender ship. Then stick the upper piece (smaller piece) on top making sure not to let the metal part fall out. After that, you hot glue the upper piece to the metal part, pull it off and let it cool, then put glue on the bottom of the upper piece and put the upper piece back on the lower piece where the lines are, being careful to line up the pixels. And finally, you seal the whole thing by putting glue around the outside of the upper piece where it touches the lower piece (Optional. I did it just to be sure it wouldn't break.) Now your Defender USB is done, enjoy and thank you for reading this! How I Designed This I copied the pixels from a photograph and then made my own 3D representation of what they looked like by cutting them out. And finally, I cut holes where the USB stick goes. Then I printed it three times to work out bugs.
