Deer thoracic vertebra
myminifactory
This deer thoracic vertebra was carefully scanned using a NextEngine Desktop 3D scanner at the Virtual Curation Laboratory. The vertebra, which had been loaned from the Fort Lee Regional Archaeological Curation Facility (RACF), is being used to develop a comprehensive digital zooarchaeological type collection that will aid in research and educational outreach efforts. The vertebra was discovered on the surface and does not have any archaeological significance due to its exposure to the elements, which has caused noticeable wear.
