Deer-Scarer
thingiverse
This intricate creation is inspired by the design on Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:224441). It requires only 3 STLs, with the peg printed twice. The base and arm are printed separately and then joined together, while the peg needs to be glued in place for stability. To use the gadget, simply place it under a tap or a gentle stream of water or even a severed limb, allowing it to fill up slowly until almost full. As it fills, it tips forward, emptying its contents - whether that's tap water, fresh foresty water, or blood! Once emptied, the not-hollow part below the peg becomes heavier again, causing the arm to reset its position. For optimal printing results, use an Ultimaker 2 and slice with Cura software set to "hollow," ensuring a crisscross pattern for strength, as a solid print might cause the lower arm to be too heavy for the upper arm when filled.
