Deep Space 9 Clock (Laser cutter)
cults3d
I'd like to show you my DS9 clock project. I utilized a DS9 model created by nd4spd1919, scaled it down, and split it in half. Next, I laser cut a clock shield, installed the clock mechanism, and secured the DS9 top portion with glue. When engraving, use clear acrylic or perspex and keep the cover intact. After engraving, apply black paint to the engraved areas. Once the paint dries, remove the cover and mount the clock mechanism. Attach four rods (printed in clear PLA) and glue the painted DS9 (chrome-painted) onto the rods. Comments and suggestions are always welcome.
