Deep drawers for "Small items organizer":

This is an ideal organizer, but I needed drawers to hold 30 different resistor values, so I required 6 sections that ran the full length of the unit (times 5 drawers). I'm guessing that most people who order assorted packs of resistors from Amazon face the same issue. I imported the original single section design file into OpenSCAD and added individual compartments in a loop. I initially included the OpenSCAD file and provided instructions for rendering the drawer with a different number of compartments. After realizing that most people aren't tech-savvy and may not want to download, install, and use OpenSCAD, I have included STL files for drawers with 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 compartments. The OpenSCAD file is still there in case you need something different. UPDATE: I've uploaded a Thingiverse Customizer compatible version of the OpenSCAD file, so you can alter the parameters (such as "number of compartments") by clicking the "Open in Customizer" button. You can also customize the number of compartments by opening the file in OpenSCAD and changing the value of numCompartments. Render, export, slice, and print. That's all there is to it. Not complicated, just not something that I would expect a normal person to be happy doing. But then again, you're 3D printing by choice, so you're not exactly what most people would call "normal." The included generated "Deep drawers" and "Deep drawers_6 compartments" STL files are identical (6 compartments). The original "Drawer_1_compartment.stl" is included for rendering in OpenSCAD. You'll need that to make anything other than the versions that are already included here. The other files are variations with differing numbers of compartments. The file name should give you enough information to know which is which.
