I put the halves together using CA glue and accelerator, which works fine as long as you don't leave your tackle box out in the sun. You could also print in ABS if you're worried about it. I use a wire former and size #11 wire to make the through-wire, which seems to work well. You can see a short video about it here: https://youtu.be/kMGMnAHa3bc It's called the Goopy because it looks like a goofy goby. The Goopy dives deep, reaching depths of 8-14 feet.
