There is now a set of true tiles in size, featuring 1 1/4" squares and an all-new 2x2 inch square version with openlock capabilities that are fully compatible with Devin's changes to openlock terrain. Two exciting add-on pieces are available: a regular grate and a destroyed grate with pieces pushed upwards as if something had managed to escape. When printed, the grate will come out straighter than shown here; you may want to bend it afterwards to achieve a more convincingly forced-open look. This was not done initially, despite being possible, because I wanted to ensure the grate could be printed without supports. Alternatively, you can simply print the original grate and cut your own hole to create the desired effect. To create the optical illusion of a pit, you will need to paint each step with progressively darker colors, culminating in the darkest color at the smallest bottom square. This image does not do justice to the final result. Once you have painted each step from lightest to darkest, moving from top to bottom, it's time to add diagonal lines to each corner, thickening them towards the top and gradually thinning out as they disappear into the darkness at the bottom.
