Deep carry pocket clip for Leatherman Free T2
thingiverse
The Leatherman Free T2 comes without a pocket clip but has holes to attach one, so I designed a short deep carry clip. The design of my clip is based on the one on my Benchmade Bugout, making it very similar if you own that knife. Here's the original CAD model on OnShape for anyone who wants to edit the clip: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/aa23c34f638d1bf9e660cd7b/w/cc086feac7662c023ac294ea/e/555e07e5e95e9ae8457180c0 Edit: I made a few changes to the clip. 1. I increased the thickness of the clip part for more spring back. 2. I enlarged the holes used to attach the clip to the knife. 3. I added blends to various parts of the clip. 4. I included jimping. This clip was printed in PETG and it works pretty well, hanging onto my pocket about 75% as strongly as a metal clip. If I had longer screws to attach it to the body, I could make the base thicker and get more clamp, which I'll explore further.
