A reliable substitute for the spark plug wrench is available. For FDM printers, PLA material is recommended due to its high rigidity. This tool fits Honda engines like GCV160 and others. Measurements are 13/16 inch on one side of the socket and 1/2 inch on the other side. Printing this tool requires either a solid structure or more than five walls. It's essential to print it upright, ensuring the slicer renders the socket section as a solid object. For optimal results, use higher temperatures (above 215°C for PLA) and slower printing speeds, such as 0.12mm or 0.16mm layer height. A wider line width is also recommended, specifically 0.5mm for nozzles of 0.4mm diameter. Make sure the Adaptive Layer Height feature is disabled during the print process.
